Dynamic Content Group

Dynamic Content Group (DCG) provides products and consulting services in the healthcare analytics (eCQM / CDS) space. DCG maintains a number of open-source projects related to CQL, FHIR, and authoring healthcare standards.

DCG’s core mission is improve the quality of healthcare globally via enhanced interoperability of health care systems, shortening the development lifecycle of evidence-based clinical care plans, and providing open tooling to expand the market for CQL-based clinical knowledge.

DCG’s employees include the co-author of the CQL language, the co-chair of the HL7 FHIR Clinical Reasoning Committee, and some of the world’s most experienced eCQM authors, making DCG the foremost expert in the CQL-based Clinical Knowledge Artifacts

CQL

Clinical Quality Language is a high-level, domain-specific language focused on clinical logic. CQL is primarily used for expressing Clinical Decision Support (CDS) and electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) logic. CQL is part of the HL7 FHIR standard.

FHIR

The HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interop Resources) Specification is a standard for exchanging healthcare information electronically, and provides a platform for building clinical data models that can be used for CDS and eCQMs. FHIR has been widely adopted and is the leading format for interoperable healthcare resources.
